The switch works well and is quite heavy duty, however as per the previous review, mine too rattles like crazy and have also adopted the rubber band trick. Doesn't look nice but it works.



As for the installation, I did it myself. My biggest complaint is that it came with no instructions nor was it covered in the instruction manual that came with the brake. Without an electrical background, installation could be hit and miss for some.



BD NOTE: Thank you for the comments - the switch is the same type of switch used by truckers for years to operate two-speed gear boxes and have used the "rubber band" trick to get rid of the rattle. For those who are looking for something better looking we suggest the rocker style switch. This being a generic switch, the installation instructions are lacking but we are creating an installation sheets for these line switches that will be available soon.

Can't comment on installation ease or difficulty of the push/pull switch, as I had the BD shop do the install with their exhaust brake. I can only say that the thing rattles like crazy, to the point of distraction - I've used a rubber band to stop the rattling, by circling it and the stick. Kinda' hokey, but it works for me.
