APPS Noise Isolator

Interference in the throttle position sensor circuits (APPS) on Dodge Cummins engines from 1994 to 2005 will create false voltage readings in the APPS

Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
circuit and cause the lock-up torque converter to rapidly cycle on and off as you drive. This quick and easy fix removes the annoying and potentially harmful RF interference.

Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you that I purchased this APPS Noise Isolator for my 01 Ram. It completely eliminated the problem of the torque convertor locking and unlocking between 40-50 MPH.

I was dealing with this issue for 25,000 miles, going to transmission shops, installing a new Throttle Position Sensor, and nothing helped until I installed this Noise Isolator.

Best $30.00 and 15 minutes I ever spent. After the install, no matter what I try to do, I cannot duplicate the problem.

    Thanks again BD Diesel!!!

battled this issue for two years and tried everything that i could get info on but still thought that this might be a gimmick part. NO this is NOT a gimmick two new alternators, two trips to the local tranny guy, and one dealer trip later i ordered one and presto-fixo truck runs and shifts like when i got it. if you have an automatic and dont have this you are wasting money$$$$

I was experiencing the infamous torque converter lock-up on my '98 Ram 2500 CTD. Steady cruising and light acceleration between 40 and 50 mph was almost impossible with the TC constantly locking and unlocking. Installed the APPS Noise Isolator and cleaned all the battery terminals while I was at it. The problem is completely resolved and I would go as far as to say that the transmission actually seems to shift more crisply than before. Best $30 and 10 minutes you can spend on your truck.
